ATTORNEY AT LAW

Ed Czapla grew up in the Northwest suburbs where he attended Barrington High School. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign) in 1986. Ed attended The John Marshall Law School while working as a law clerk for a prominent Chicago personal injury law firm and received his law degree in 1989.

Ed has devoted his practice to fighting for the rights and benefits of injured workers and holding people accountable for their actions. He is passionate about representing injured workers and understands what they are going through. It’s hard to keep your life in order and get it back on track when you are faced with legal issues and he works tirelessly to get his clients the benefits they need and deserve, 

Ed concentrates his trial practice in the areas of personal injury and workers’ compensation litigation. Over the last 28 years he has represented personal injury victims who have suffered serious and disabling injuries in a wide variety of cases, including construction negligence, product liability, motor vehicle collisions, slip and fall, premises liability, and nursing home neglect.

Ed is licensed to practice throughout the State of Illinois and is a member of the Federal Trial Bar for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Ed has successfully litigated and appealed cases in the Illinois Appellate Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, Northwest Suburban Bar Association and the Workers’ Compensation Lawyers Association

When Ed isn’t in the office or the courtroom, he spends as much time as possible outside fishing, kayaking and spending time with his family.
